Heidi James’ most recent novel Wounding (Bluemoose, 2014) was published to wide acclaim and was on several ‘favourite books of 2014’ lists. She was a finalist for the Cinnamon Poetry Collection prize and her novella, The Mesmerist’s Daughter won the Saboteur Award. She has a book in film pre-production.
She has collaborated with artists Tara Darby, Delaine Le Bas and Mike Chavez-Dawson and musician Gwyneth Herbert.
Her essays, short stories and poetry have appeared in various publications and anthologies including; Dazed and Confused, Somesuch Stories, Brand, Flux among others.
She has an MA in Creative Writing and a PhD in English Literature and currently lives in London.
